This Mudejar style door was built in the fourteenth century, with a rectangular plan and semicircle finish. It is presided over by a monumental arch pointed on columns, slightly forward on the horseshoe door.
A relief depicting the imposition of the chasuble on San Ildefonso presides over the main arch. A moon and a sun are also shown, which is why it is believed that the door is known by this name.
The arch is protected by two crenellated towers with windows, one of them semicircular, and the other square.
