THE INQUISITION IN TOLEDO
The Inquisition was an ecclesiastical tribunal created in the fifteenth century by the Catholic Monarchs. In this tour we will have the opportunity to discover, its origin in Toledo, reasons for its existence, place where the inquisitorial prisons were, the cars of faith held in Toledo, reasons for its accusation, “the brazier of the Vega”… etc
You could visit on this route Cardinal Lorenzana Palace, San Vicente Church, Church of the Jesuits, Roman Baths, Pozo del Salvador and exhibition of ancient instruments of torture.
